Settings Overview: Adding a Rep in Alta

Before Katie can start outbounding on your behalf, you’ll need to set up a Rep.

A Rep is the identity that Katie will use to send emails, make calls, and engage prospects. This ensures all outreach feels human, personalized, and connected to your team.

  • Select Katie’s Reps from the dropdown.


Step 1 : Create a New Rep

  • Click + Add a Rep in the top left.

  • A form will pop up titled Create Rep.


Step 2: Fill Out Rep Details

In the Create Rep window:

  • Enter Name: Input the Rep’s first and last name

  • Select Role: Choose the role that best represents the rep’s GTM function (e.g., SDR, AE, Sales Manager).

This is used purely for internal labeling — it does not affect platform permissions or access levels. All reps have equal visibility and access across the workspace.


Step 3: Save Your Rep

  • Click Save once you’ve filled in the information.

  • Your Rep is now ready to be assigned to campaigns!
