Step 1: Navigate to Settings → Integrations
From the sidebar, go to Settings.
Select Integrations.
Step 2: Connect Your CRM (HubSpot)
Alta offers flexible CRM integrations. For this example, we'll show how to connect HubSpot:
Find Connect to HubSpot.
Click Connect.
A new window will open asking you to log into your HubSpot account.
Choose the correct HubSpot workspace and grant permission to integrate with Alta.
Once connected, you’ll unlock:
Sync: Automatically pull in and update prospect records inside Alta.
Smart Sync: Enrich your CRM with AI-driven insights captured through your outreach.
Tip: Keeping your CRM synced ensures Katie always targets the freshest, most qualified leads.

Step 3: Configure HubSpot Deduplication Settings
Navigate to the HubSpot Integration settings.
Ensure that Deduplication is toggled ON for both:
Contact level
Company level
Setting up deduplication ensures that Katie will not source any prospects already in your HubSpot CRM - preventing duplicate outreach and keeping your pipeline clean.
Configure Contact Level Rules:
Filter by fields like First Name to double-check matches when deduplicating.
Add additional fields if needed to improve match precision.
Configure Company Level Rules:
Filter by fields like Company Domain Name to ensure you avoid reaching out to employees at existing customer or prospect companies.
Pro Tip:
Use multiple field filters when possible (e.g., First Name + Email) for stricter deduplication logic.
Step 4: Configure Push Settings
Once your deduplication settings are in place, scroll down to configure how and when Katie should push new contact and company data into HubSpot.
Push Contacts:
Choose the trigger points for pushing new leads into your CRM (e.g. on first outreach, LinkedIn connection accepted, positive reply).
Pro Tip: Align internally on the trigger rules so your team knows exactly when a contact will appear in HubSpot.Define which fields Katie should sync into HubSpot when pushing a Contact/Company.
You can map fields like First Name, Website URL, or LinkedIn URL - and decide whether each field should be updated when data changes.
Push Companies:
Katie can also create companies in HubSpot if they don’t already exist.
Use field mapping to define what gets pushed - for example, the company domain or LinkedIn company page.
Push Emails & Update Existing Data:
You can enable automatic syncing of email activities to HubSpot.
🟣 Don’t forget to click Save at the bottom of the page to lock in your configuration.
