1. Access Your Campaign
Go to the Campaigns tab.
Open an existing campaign or create a new one.
Navigate to the Touchpoints section.
2. Add an AI Enrichment Variable
Open any Personalized Message.
Go to the Prompts area.
Type / (slash) to open the variable menu.
Click Add AI Enrichment.
You will now see a setup window for creating your enrichment variable.
3. Configure the Variable
Variable Name
Choose a descriptive name for your variable.
Example:CTOOutput Type
Use Text for names, descriptions, titles, etc.
Use Number only when expecting numeric output.
Use True/False for boolean answers.
In this example, the CTO name is a Text value.
Prompt (The instruction Alta uses to fetch the information)
Write a clear request for the AI.
Example:Find the name of the CTO of /company_name
4. Preview the Output
Click Preview to test your prompt.
Alta will fetch an example result based on a sample prospect.
Example output:
Company: Beans
CTO: Nathan Goley
If the output looks correct, proceed to add the variable.
5. Save the Variable
Click Add.
Your new AI enrichment variable (e.g.,
CTO) will now appear in your variable list.
You can insert it anywhere by typing / and selecting it from AI Enrichment.
6. Use the Variable Inside Your Message
Example usage inside a prompt:
Mention that we would love to speak with {{CTO}} about this.Alta will automatically replace the variable with the enriched result for each prospect.
7. Use in Email Templates
AI Enrichment variables can also be inserted inside templates:
Open or create a new email template.
Go to Variables.
Under AI Enrichment, select your variable (e.g.,
CTO).
This allows you to reuse the same enrichment logic across multiple emails.
