Overview
Alta MCP allows you to use Claude with Alta, so you can access Alta capabilities directly inside Claude.
Once connected, you can use Claude to work with Alta tools such as:
Ask Alta
Campaign creation
Alta account data and workflows, depending on your permissions
Clients need to add the Alta MCP as a custom connector in Claude.
Follow the steps below.
Step 1: Open Claude
Log in to your Claude account.
Step 2: Go to Connectors
In Claude, go to:
Customize → Connectors

Step 3: Add a Custom Connector
Click Add custom.
Step 4: Add Alta MCP
Add the connector name:
Alta MCP
Step 5: Add the MCP URL
Use the following MCP URL:
https://api.altahq.com/mcp
Step 6: Authenticate With Alta
Click Connect and authenticate with your Alta account.
Make sure you use the Alta account you want Claude to access.
Step 7: Start Using Claude With Alta
Once the connection is complete, you can start using Claude with Alta.
For example, you can use Claude to:
Ask questions through Ask Alta
Create campaigns
Work with Alta workflows
Access Alta data based on your account permissions
