Step 1: Connect to HubSpot
Go to Settings in Alta.
Select Integrations.
3. Open Connect to HubSpot.
4. Click Sync → Connect to HubSpot.
5. Choose the relevant HubSpot account.
6. Scroll down and press Connect App.
Once completed, your HubSpot CRM will be connected.
Step 2: Configure Deduplication Settings
Deduplication prevents Alta from reaching out to contacts or companies that already exist in your CRM.
Contact-Level Deduplication
Example: Add a rule for
Lead Status = Open Deal
.Result: Any HubSpot lead with an open deal will not be contacted by Alta.
Company-Level Deduplication
Example: Add a rule for
Company Status = Customer
.Result: Any company marked as a customer in HubSpot will be excluded from Alta outreach.
Step 3: Configure Push Settings
Push settings control what data is sent from Alta to HubSpot.
Push Contacts
Example: Map fields so when a prospect replies in Alta, their Lifecycle Stage = Lead in HubSpot.
Push Companies
Same setup as contacts — add field rules as needed.
Push Triggers
First Outreach
Positive Reply
Other outreach activities (emails, LinkedIn messages, calls)
Update Existing Data
Example: If a contact’s lifecycle stage in HubSpot is “Lead” and after a reply in Alta you want it updated to “Opportunity,” toggle Update Existing Data.
This ensures Alta updates existing HubSpot records instead of creating duplicates.
Step 4: Save Configuration
Always click Save Configuration after making changes to apply your settings.
