How to Add Prospects or Companies to the Do Not Contact (DNC) List

The Do Not Contact (DNC) list ensures that specific prospects or companies are excluded from outreach campaigns.

Overview

Any company or prospect added to the DNC list will:

  • Be excluded from all campaigns

  • Not be contacted by the system

  • Be invisible to Katie and campaign workflows


How to Access the DNC List

  1. From the main navigation menu, click Knowledge

  2. Select DNC List


Adding Companies to the DNC List

Add a Company Manually

  1. Navigate to the Companies section

  2. Enter the company name / domain in the input field

  3. Click to add the company to the DNC list


Adding Prospects to the DNC List

Option 1: Add a Prospect Manually

  1. Go to the Prospects section

  2. Enter the prospect details manually

  3. Add the prospect to the DNC list

Option 2: Upload a Prospect List

  1. In the Prospects section, select the option to upload a list

  2. Upload your file containing prospect mailbox.

  3. Confirm the upload


Uploading a Company Domain List

You can also upload a list of company domains to block entire organizations from being contacted.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Companies section

  2. Select the option to upload a domain list

  3. Upload your file containing company domains

    Note: Make sure to upload only the domain and not the full website URL.

    Correct example: company.com
    Incorrect example: https://www.company.com/about-us


Important Notes

  • The upload functionality is available for both companies and prospects

  • Any company or prospect added to the DNC list will automatically be excluded from all campaigns

  • DNC entries will not appear in Katie workflows or outreach activities


Best Practice

Regularly review and update your DNC list to ensure compliance and prevent outreach to restricted or unwanted prospects.
