How to Add Tags to Your Inbox Messages

Tags help you organize and manage messages in your Inbox. You can use existing tags or create custom tags based on your workflow.

1. Go to the Inbox

Open Inbox from the main navigation.


2. Review Your Message Categories

On the left side of the Inbox, you will see message categories such as:

  • Unread

  • Replied

  • Archived

You will also see your available tags listed below these categories.


3. Select a Message

Click on the message you want to tag.


4. Add a Tag

Click Add Tags.


5. Choose a Tag

Select the tag you want to apply.

Example:

  • Reply Needed


6. Apply the Tag

Click Apply to add the tag to the selected message.


How to Create a Custom Tag

You can also create your own custom tags.

Steps

  1. Open a message in the Inbox.

  2. Click Add Tags.

  3. Select Add New Tag.

  4. Enter the name of your custom tag.

  5. Apply the tag to the message.

Use tags to make it easier to track, filter, and prioritize messages that need attention.
