Step 1: Navigate to Touchpoints
After completing your Audience and Pitch, go to the Touchpoints section of your campaign.
Click Add New
Select either:
Email Step
LinkedIn Step
For this example, choose:
Email → Personalized
Step 2: Add a Personalized Step
Once selected:
A new email step will automatically be added to your workflow.
On the right-hand side, you will see:
Preview (final message output)
Prompt (where you control the message)
Step 3: Edit the Prompt
Click on Prompt.
A default prompt will already be generated for you.
Customize it based on your goals.
Example:
Goal: Sell cakes
Instruction: Always mention that you sell cakes
You can freely adjust:
Messaging tone
Value proposition
Personalization instructions
Step 4: Configure Email Elements
Add CC Recipients
Click the CC option at the top to include additional recipients.
Add Attachments
Click the paperclip icon to attach files to the email.
Add a Call-to-Action (CTA)
Click on Variables.
Select Rep Meeting Link.
Add custom text (e.g., Click here to book a meeting).
This will automatically insert your scheduling link into the email.
Step 5: Use “Suggest Edits”
Click Suggest Edits to quickly adjust the message style.
You can modify:
Formality
Urgency
Persuasiveness
Level of personalization
Adjust Word Count
Set a desired length (e.g., 200 words).
The preview will automatically update with a longer or shorter version.
Step 6: Control Personalization with Input Data
At the bottom of the prompt, you can control what data Katie can use.
Available Data Includes:
First name
Last name
Job title
Company name
Company summary
Location (city)
How to Use:
Toggle ON to allow usage
Toggle OFF to prevent usage
Example:
If you turn off Company Name, the email will not mention the prospect’s company.
Step 7: Preview the Final Message
Click on Preview.
Review the generated message.
You will see:
Your CTA included
Adjusted length (based on word count)
Only the selected personalization fields applied
Step 8: Save Your Changes
Click Save to apply your updates to the campaign.
