How to Use AI Conditions in the Campaign Builder

This guide explains how to use AI Conditions in the Touchpoints section to dynamically route prospects based on real-time data.

Step 1: Navigate to Touchpoints

  1. Go to the Touchpoints section of your campaign.

  2. On the left-hand side, click Add New.

  3. Scroll to the bottom and select Condition.


Step 2: Select AI Condition

After clicking Condition, you will see a list of available conditions.

  1. Choose AI Condition (first option in the list).

This will add a decision step to your workflow.


Step 3: Understand How AI Condition Works

The AI Condition allows you to evaluate a prospect using a custom prompt.

  • When a prospect reaches this step:

    • Katie analyzes the prompt

    • Uses available tools (currently web search)

    • Returns a Yes or No answer

Based on the result:

  • Yes β†’ Prospect continues down one branch

  • No β†’ Prospect follows a different path


Step 4: Use Tree View for Better Visualization

To better understand the flow:

  1. Click on Tree View

  2. This will show:

    • The decision point

    • The Yes/No branches

    • The paths prospects will follow


Step 5: Define Your AI Prompt

Inside the AI Condition, you will write a prompt that determines the logic.

Example Use Cases

Example 1: Social Presence Check

Does the company this prospect works at have a Facebook page?

Example 2: Industry Qualification

Does {{prospect.company}} operate in the healthcare industry?

What Happens:

  • The system searches the web

  • Evaluates available data

  • Returns:

    • Yes β†’ Continue with one flow

    • No β†’ Route to another flow


Step 6: What Data the AI Uses

Currently, the AI Condition relies on:

  • Web Search Tool

    • Scrapes publicly available information

    • Finds relevant data about the company or prospect


Step 7: Build Conditional Flows

You can use AI Conditions to create smarter workflows, such as:

  • Routing based on company presence (e.g., website, social media)

  • Filtering prospects by industry or market

  • Creating different messaging paths based on findings
