How to Connect Your LinkedIn account

To connect your LinkedIn account to Alta, follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings
In Alta, navigate to the Settings page.

2. Select Your Correspondent Rep
Choose the Correspondent Rep you want to connect LinkedIn for.

3. Scroll to LinkedIn Connection

Scroll down to the LinkedIn Connection section and click the ➕ icon on the right to expand it.

4. Install the Chrome Extension

Note: Make sure you're already logged into LinkedIn in your Chrome browser.

5. Press on Add to Chrome

6.Verify the Extension Installation
Once installed, you will see the Alta extension icon in your Chrome toolbar at the top right of your browser.

7. Connect Your Account
Once the extension is installed, return to Alta and click Connect to link your LinkedIn account.

8. Select Your LinkedIn Plan
When prompted, make sure to select the appropriate LinkedIn plan (e.g., Free, Sales Navigator, etc.) to ensure full functionality.

9. Check for the Green "Connected" Button
After clicking Connect, you should see a green “Connected” button appear.

10. Click Save
Finally, click Save to ensure your changes are applied.

11. Confirm the Connection in the Extension
Open the Alta extension in your browser and ensure the following two items are connected:

  • Sync is active

  • LinkedIn is connected
