What Is Company Lookalike Search?
Company Lookalike Search helps you discover companies that are similar to a company domain you provide.
For example, if you enter uber.com, Alta will search for companies that look similar to Uber.
You can also add filters to narrow the results based on specific company attributes.
Step 1: Go to the Audience Section
In the Campaign Builder, go to the first section: Audience.
Step 2: Select ABM
On the left-hand side, click ABM.
ABM stands for Account-Based Marketing.
Step 3: Choose Company Lookalike Search
Click Company Lookalike Search.
This opens the lookalike company search option.
Step 4: Enter a Company Domain
In the lookalike field, enter a company domain.
For example:
uber.com
Alta will use this domain to find companies that are similar to the company you entered.
Step 5: Add Company Attribute Filters
Add filters to narrow the company results based on the type of companies you want to target.
For example, you can filter by:
Company size, such as SMBs
Location, such as United States
Other relevant company attributes
These filters help make the lookalike results more specific to your target market.
Step 6: Select Companies from the Company Preview
On the right-hand side of the screen, review the company preview.
This preview will show lookalike companies based on:
The company domain you entered
The filters you selected
Select the companies you want to include in your campaign.
Step 7: Add Filters for Specific Personas Inside Those Companies
After selecting the companies, add filters to define the specific personas you want to reach inside those companies.
For example, you can filter by:
Job titles
Departments
Seniority
Location
Other relevant persona criteria
These filters help Alta find the right prospects within the selected lookalike companies.
